They can also permit a stranger to handle them if they are taken in belief that the stranger is not going to harm them or if it is quietly reassured to them that no danger is present. Following five techniques are usually adopted by handlers all over the world, and they have proved to be very effective: Talking to the cat The handler should talk to the cat smoothly but confidently. This helps in to reassure a cat that no danger is present and to make it realize that handler is it’s friend and is not going to hurt it.
