Toy dog breeds are considered to be the most loved dogs.  It is because they are very cute, humble, fascinating, charming, friendly,  short, cute and the lightest in weight.

Along with the above-mentioned qualities, toy dogs can adapt themselves to the environment very easily. They can be easily trained for living in houses with human beings. Some of them are so light that even a child can lift them in arms. Their weight ranges in a few kilograms or pounds. Here six of them are listed along with the weight range of their males and females in kilograms and pounds.

  Pomeranian

Pomeranian is probably the shortest and lightest breed of dog along with the toy poodle and Chihuahua in our list. Their attractive look makes everyone fall in love with them. The weight of their male ranges from 1.8-3.2 kilograms or 4-7 pounds, while the weight of their females ranges from 1.4-2.7 kilograms or 3-6 pounds.

As the name indicates, toy poodle is very famous among children. Due to its friendly behavior and humble nature, many parents keep them in homes as their family members and as a source of affection and entertainment for their babies.

 The weight of their males is usually less than 2.3 kilograms or 5 pounds, similarly, the weight of their females also ranges the same as of their males( <2.3 kilograms or <5 pounds).

Chihuahua

Chihuahua is another light-weighted, short dog that is taking fame for a long. This breed is considered the lightest by many pets specialists.

The weight of their males is usually less than 2.3 kilograms or 5 pounds, similarly, the weight of their females also ranges the same as of their males( <2.3 kilograms or <5 pounds).

Pekingese

Pekingese is also a toy dog. weight of their male ranges from 3.2-5 kilograms or 7-11 pounds, while the weight of their females ranges from 3.6-5.4 kilograms or 8-12 pounds.

Dachshund

weight of their male use to be 5 kilograms or 11 pounds, while the weight of their females also uses to be 5 kilograms or 11 pounds.

Pug

 weight of their male ranges from 6.3-8.2 kilograms or 14-18 pounds, similarly weight of their females is also in the same range.
